Third-party dependencies

This project stands on a great deal of open-source work — the backend, the frontend, the desktop shell, and dozens of direct dependencies plus their transitive ones. The complete inventory, with each license, lives in CREDITS.md in the repository:

Thank you to every maintainer.

One deliberate trade-off

One thing is worth calling out. Among the file-preview packages, the ones that add CAD format support are GPL-3.0. They are optional peer dependencies — meaning that without them, everything else works exactly the same.

This project deliberately does not install them. GPL-3.0 is copyleft: the moment it becomes a dependency, the project can no longer be released under MIT. To keep the license permissive — so that anyone can use it commercially and redistribute it freely — this project gave up support for that one format.

Trademarks and referenced content

The model providers named in the documentation (DeepSeek, Zhipu, Qwen, Kimi, MiniMax, OpenAI, Google and others) and their names and marks belong to their respective owners. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them — you call them with your own account and key, under their terms.
